I am 30 years old and wish to move to northern california, any tips or advice?

like i said i am 30 years old, i live in central illinois and for as long as i can remember i have wanted to live in cali. i am very interested in attending some cles and seminars at oaksterdam university in oakland california. i hope to learn as much as i can about the growing marijuana industry so i can gain a decent job in a field that i love. does anyone have any advice on not only california living and some expectations i should have, but the industry as well. is it hard to get a decent job in the marijuana business? any help is greatly appreciated thanks!
